When in doubt and looking for a handy meal to cook for lunch, “Kebda Iskandrani” or “Alexandrian liver” becomes one of the most suitable options that can be cooked in almost no time and effortlessly. Chef Hassan Mohamed said that it is better to cook Alexandrian liver than buy it from street vendors to guarantee the safety and cleanness of meat. Mohammed added that cooking liver at home represents a healthy meal for the human body since it is rich in multivitamins and iron. Ingredients Chopped slices of liver Slices of bell pepper 2 cloves of minced garlic Spoonful salt Spoonful black pepper Spoonful cumin Spoonful coriander Spoonful vinegar 1 lemon Cooking oil Instructions Mix garlic with salt, black pepper, cumin, urethra, vinegar, and lemon, until it becomes a combined mixture Heat a bowl over a flame and put Oil inside it. Then, add one spoon from the mixture After a minute, add the liver to the pot for three minutes Add bell pepper slices until they wither Serve the Alexandrian liver dish alongside rice or pasta, salad, and tahini
